During the Dolphins’ preseason game against the Bears on Sunday, the ex-Jets bust bounced what would have been an easy touchdown pass to Tanner Conner on a second-and-goal play early in the second quarter.

Wilson faked a handoff, rolled to his left and was under pressure, but Conner was wide open and could have waltzed into the end zone.

Wilson’s throw landed well in front of Conner, however.

Wilson was also sacked by Austin Booker after staring down Tahj Washington, forcing the Dolphins to punt.

He led two touchdown drives, but finished 5-for-9 for 96 yards and no touchdowns or interceptions in what ended up a 24-24 tie.

The bulk of those yards came on a 35-yard connection with Nick Westbrook-Ikhine on his second play from scrimmage.

Wilson spent last year with the Broncos after his disastrous Jets tenure ended.

The Jets drafted Wilson with the No. 2 overall pick in 2021 and dealt him to Denver last offseason.

He signed a one-year, $6 million deal with the Dolphins this offseason and is battling rookie Quinn Ewers to win the backup job behind Tua Tagovailoa.

Ewers had a rough preseason debut, going 5-for-18 for 91 yards, no touchdowns and no interceptions.

The Dolphins drafted Ewers in the seventh round in April.
