The woman, dressed in black but with silver-colored sneakers, bumped and grinded her goodbyes while so-called “wake entertainer” El Cangri del Callao performed, according to footage posted by the singer,
The reggaeton singer encouraged mourners to also join in the bizarre send-off, with many whooping and cheering at the twerking widow during Sunday’s funeral.
The wild scene racked up over 4.3 million views and a storm of comments.
“In my time, people cried at funerals,’ one shocked commentator said, while another said that while the widow “dances very well” her late ex appears “very stiff.”
Another suggested the dead man must have been begging for them to “bury me now!” to avoid the far-from-traditional send off.
