“He got a gun. He’s got a gun in his hand and he’s just pointing it at everybody that drives by.”

Bodycam footage from two responding officers shows the unidentified gunman walking toward cops waving the gun and ignoring repeated orders to drop it.

“Drop it, drop it,” one cop yells repeatedly. “Drop the gun!”

Both officers then open fire, getting off more than two dozen shots and sending the nut to the ground.

The man then sits up, waves the gun again and is shot several more times, this time staying down.

“SPD rendered medical aid, but the man was pronounced dead at the scene,” the department said.

Police said the officer-involved shooting will be the subject of an outside investigation by the King’s County Sheriff’s Office, in keeping with Seattle Police Department guidelines.

“Compliance is always best, de-escalation is always best, sometimes you don’t have the benefit of time when someone is carrying a firearm, and they’re walking towards you, or they’re walking towards innocent people,” Seattle Police Chief Shon Barnes told KOMO-TV News after the shooting.

Police did not reveal if the two officers will be taken off the streets while the probe is pending.
