Why the Kelce brothers are digging Giants’ Jaxson Dart, Cam Skattebo
The vibes around MetLife Stadium for the Giants haven’t been this good in years — and some big names around the NFL are taking notice.
Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and his brother Jason had high praise for Giants rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart and rookie running back Cam Skattebo, applauding the electric duo on the latest episode of their “New Heights” podcast.

“When this whole first thing started happening, I was kind of — I don’t know if I was being a hater — like ‘we’ll see where this energy is going,’” Jason said on the podcast this week. “But I gotta hand it to them, man.”
Added Travis: “These dudes just love some ball, man. And they love each other.”
Dart and Skattebo have taken the NFL by storm through their infectious chemistry and full-throttle playing style, injecting new life into a franchise that’s seen playoff action just twice in the last 14 years.
“You can’t deny how the whole team has responded to this energy,” said Jason, the former Eagles center.
The Giants are 2-1 since the Ole Miss standout took over for Russell Wilson as the starting quarterback, and the team’s potential was on full display during a massive 34-17 upset win over the reigning Super Bowl champion Eagles on Oct. 9.
The pair combined for five touchdowns — with four on the ground — before Skattebo went viral for a hilarious post-game show appearance with the “Thursday Night Football” studio crew, a clip that culminated in a shirtless chest bump between Skattebo and Ryan Fitzpatrick.
“They f–king make me want to watch the Giants because of the energy they got, man,” Travis said on the podcast.
The Kelces were especially impressed with Skattebo, the wild Arizona State product who barrels head-first into anyone standing between him and the goal line — trucking linemen and punctuating his touchdowns with a signature backflip celebration.
Jason emphasized that Skattebo plays with a mentality “that a lot of the NFL’s missing right now,” and he offered a Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson-inspired retort to the critics who fear he’s running his way into early retirement.
“Take your science, turn it sideways, bend around and shove it right up your candy ass,” Jason said.
The new-look Giants (2-4) are must-see TV, and they’ll be back in action when they take on the Broncos (4-2) on Sunday in Denver.
Let’s be honest—no matter how stressful the day gets, a good viral video can instantly lift your mood. Whether it’s a funny pet doing something silly, a heartwarming moment between strangers, or a wild dance challenge, viral videos are what keep the internet fun and alive.
