Whoopi Goldberg Surprisingly “Happy” To Announce Marjorie Taylor Greene Will Be On ‘The View’ Next Week: “I Don’t Know How Many Things We Agree On”
The View will be getting an unexpected guest next week: Republican Georgia State Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene.
Whoopi Goldberg announced the news during Thursday’s (Oct. 30) broadcast. “I’m happy to say that she’s going to be here on Tuesday,” Goldberg said, before adding, “I don’t know how many things we agree on, but I know the one thing that she and I, and all of us at this table, agree on, is this should not be affecting the American people,” referring to the ongoing government shutdown which has now lasted 30 days.

“These are decisions that you don’t have the right –,” she began ranting until she was suddenly censored. Considering how shocked she and her co-hosts all seemed, it appears that Goldberg almost said a curse word on the air.
Goldberg then pulled a coy face as she continued sending the show to commercial, “Well, you know where I’m at. She’ll be here on Tuesday, Well be right back – I hope.”
Greene will appear on The View next Tuesday, Nov. 4.
The ladies of The View have recently turned over a new leaf with Greene thanks to her “reasonable” response to the government shutdown. Goldberg called her a “voice of reason” after seeing that Greene has been prioritizing her constituents, who stand to lose their SNAP benefits if the shutdown continues into November.

“She seems to be the only one responding to her constituents,” Goldberg recently said of the politician. “Because her constituents are saying, ‘Excuse me we are being affected by what’s happening here.’ She is in not a rich district, she’s in a poor district, and her people are saying, ‘This is affecting us. Either you get us some help, or we’re gonna put you out.”
“This is your job,” she then added, before pointing out, “She is the voice of reason here. What the hell is going on?”
Alyssa Farah Griffin could not argue that Greene was making some points by calling for Republican and Democratic lawmakers to “do something responsible for the American people and fix this.”
“You know what they say about a blind squirrel… A blind squirrel finds a nut every now and then,” Griffin joked on the show.
Even Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders recently shared why he thinks he’s now “on the same side” as Greene in this debate, though Sunny Hostin pointed out that he has previously referred to the controversial politician as “one of the good Republicans.”
“She has kids and she understands the reality,” he said on The View.
The View airs on weekdays at 11/10c on ABC.
