Early in the 13-show run, the “Gameboy” sort of K-Pop girl group — their songs are largely in English and members are from the U.S., Phillipines, Switzerland and Korea but have the genre’s unmistakable sound — will make their lone Big Apple stop when they headline at New York City’s Theater at Madison Square Garden on Saturday, Nov. 22.
“…the moment we’ve been dreaming of is finally here,” Katseye shared via Instagram. “We are so excited to announce that our BEAUTIFUL CHAOS tour is officially coming to you…we can’t wait to go on this journey together.”
This brief jaunt comes in support of the ensemble’s recently-released, five-song EP that shares a name with the tour. Highlights include the tongue-in-cheek breakout single “Gnarly” and frantic bop “M.I.A.”
“‘Beautiful Chaos’ is darker than ‘SIS’ (ed. note: their 2024 debut EP) melodically, visually, [in its] choreography, everything,” Lara told The Hollywood Reporter. “It’s just a little bit more mature, I would say. Every single song is very different from one another [but] we’re cohesive within the ‘Beautiful Chaos’ world.”

Katseye new music
On June 27, Katseye brought the world their second EP “Beautiful Chaos.”
At just 14.5-minutes, the sextet makes the most of their brief runtime with high-octane pop that has traces of Hip-Hop, salsa, R&B and EDM pulsing through its DNA.
After a few spins, we were drawn to the smash “Gnarly” and its hypnotic, self-assured refrain that “everything’s gnarly” as well as the slinky, understated “Gabriela,” thumping ’00s throwback “Gameboy” and sped-up, soaring jam “Mean Girls.”
Still, as we mentioned above, “M.I.A.” is our favorite here. The tune starts with a bit of a cappella before launching into fist-pumping, rump-shaking, toe-tapping anthem. It’s fun and something you’ll want to sing along to while driving, in the shower and, most importantly, at a Katseye concert.
To hear for yourself, you can find “Beautiful Chaos” here.
