Robert Plant just laid down fall 2025 roots.

The former Led Zeppelin frontman announced he’ll be playing alongside the four-person acoustic band Saving Grace at theaters, opera houses and music halls all over North America this October and November.

Early on in the 14-concert run, the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer will headline a pair of New York concerts.

First up, he hits Brooklyn’s Paramount Theater on Wednesday, Nov. 5. Shortly after, the “D’yer Mak’er” singer is slated to rock Port Chester’s Capitol Theatre on Saturday, Nov. 8.

“These are sweet people, and they are playing out all the stuff that they could never get out before, Plant, 76, said about in a press release about his backing group that he first started performing with in 2019. “They have become unique stylists, and together they seem to have landed in a most interesting place.”

In addition to the quick trek, Plant and Saving Grace are releasing a new album on Sept. 26. Appropriately titled “Saving Grace,” the ten-song LP will feature Moby Grape, Blind Willie Johnson and the Low Anthem covers.

Prior to hitting shelves, the group dropped the atmospheric, almost Zeppelin-esque lead single “Everybody Sings,” a reimagining of Low’s 2005 classic. The two sound quite different from one another; Plant and co. are far earthier while the indie rocker’s take is far more industrial.

Robert Plant new music

Ahead of the Sept. 26 release of Plant’s 12th studio album “Saving Grace,” he and the band Saving Grace dropped the aforementioned lead single “Everybody’s Song.”

Although the high-pitched yelp that made Plant famous has become a bit gruffer and raspier over the years, the indefatigable spirit is still deeply embedded within his voice that makes it unmistakably Robert Plant-ian.

Over Zeppelin-esque “Battle of Evermore”-like mandolins — that wouldn’t sound out of place over a “Game of Thrones” battle — the jolly collaborators deliver a truly foreboding track. It’s sweeping, epic, intimate and much heavier than Plant’s detour into bluegrass these past few years.

Saving Grace

In 2019, Plant formed the group Saving Grace.

Members include Suzi Dian (vocals), Oli Jefferson (percussion), Tony Kelsey (mandolin, baritone and acoustic guitar) and Matt Worley (banjo, cuatro and acoustic and baritone guitars).

The band was originally supposed to hit the road in 2020 — they announced their tour on March 3, 2020 (!) — but their jaunt was promptly canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their music is typically comprised of “songs that span Plant’s diverse tastes and influences, notably his lifelong passion for British and American folk, spirituals, and traditional blues.”

At the time of publication, the group is on tour in Europe with shows booked in France and Spain.
