That all changes this Labor Day weekend.
On Sunday, Aug. 31, Noel and Liam Gallagher return to the Garden State for the first time in almost 17 years.
This time around, they’ll be headlining the 82,500-seat MetLife Stadium for two nights with special guest Cage The Elephant; their second gig at the Mets and Giants’ home goes down Monday, Sept. 1.
As of now, tickets are available for both high-profile Anglophile shows.
At the time of publication, the lowest price we could find on tickets for either concert was $274 including fees on Vivid Seats.
If you’re hoping to get closer to the action, floor seats start at $523 including fees.
Prior to this upcoming two-night Jersey stint, Oasis performed their first set of North American concerts at Toronto’s Rogers Stadium, which came after a string of shows in their home United Kingdom. According to Set List FM, they delivered 23 songs up north including stone-cold classics like “Morning Glory,” “Supersonic,” “Don’t Look Back In Anger,” “Champagne Supernova,” and, of course, “Wonderwall.”
“Oasis sounded crisp, but not rote,” USA Today wrote in a positive review about the Toronto show. “They’re well-rehearsed, but there is still a, ‘what will he say now?’ possibility whenever a Gallagher steps near a microphone.”
Want to hear some of the greatest songs of the ’90s while wondering if you’re at the show where Liam or Noel snaps?
