Things might get awkward for Craig Counsell.

The current Chicago Cubs manager helmed the Milwaukee Brewers from 2015-23 after having played for the team from 2007-11.

Starting Saturday, Oct. 4, the 55-year-old skipper will meet his former team — who ran away with the MLB’s best record this season — in in the National League Division Series after his “blue bears” took down the San Diego Padres in a three-game, nail-biter Wild Card round.
