Kelly Ripa may have been absent from this morning’s Live with Kelly and Mark, but fear not! She is set to return sooner than you might think.

“When you get older, your entourage is your parents,” she teased.
Duncan also noted how “surreal” it was to be co-hosting with Consuelos, who it turns out, frequently appeared on her childhood TV.
“I remember the first couple when I was a kid being Hayley and Mateo,” she shared, referring to Ripa and Consuelos’ All My Children characters. “We were raised an All My Children family. And I feel like if you would have told ten-year-old Elle that she was gonna be sitting next to Mateo hosting a show—well, the first thing she would have said is, is he married? And the answer is, yes, fast little girl. He is. But this is incredible.”
Duncan’s appearance marks Consuelos’ fourth guest co-host this week, following Jackie Tohn (Aug. 4), Jenna Dewan (Aug. 5), and Rita Ora (Aug. 6).
In terms of when Ripa will be back on Live, a production source told DECIDER that Ripa took a few days off this week for her annual summer break, and will return to the show on Monday, Aug. 11.
Meanwhile Consuelos was missing from the show for most of last week, as Ripa told viewers that her husband and co-host was “working on a show out in L.A.” Jerry O’Connell, David Muir, Carson Kressley, and Steve Patterson filled in for Consuelos as co-host.
