Where Is Kelly Ripa? Jenna Dewan Fills in as Guest Host on ‘Live with Kelly and Mark’
Kelly Ripa was once again absent from this morning’s Live with Kelly and Mark.
Jenna Dewan stepped in (or should we say stepped up — sorry, we had to) as guest host with Mark Consuelos on Tuesday’s previously recorded episode, where they chatted with Smoke star Anna Chlumsky.

As for when Ripa will return, DECIDER reached out to Live for more information.
Dewan’s appearance follows Jackie Tohn‘s on Monday’s (Aug. 4) installment, where she and Consuelos sat down with Hamilton alum and And Just Like That… star Christopher Jackson.
A series of guest hosts took over for Consuelos last week, among whom were Jerry O’Connell (July 29), David Muir (July 30), Carson Kressley (July 31), and Steve Patterson (Aug. 1). Ripa told viewers that Consuelos was “working on a show out in L.A.”
Last week also marked the release of Consuelos and Ripa’s four-part ESPN docuseries, Running with the Wolves, which follows their journey as co-owners of Campobasso FC. While speaking with DECIDER about the project, Consuelos explained that he and Ripa “had produced a few sports docs in the past,” though “the difference was [he] was never in front of the camera for any of those.”
“[Running with the Wolves] is very, very different than anything that we’ve done,” he shared. “Obviously the live show, it’s live, and it’s us talking, and so we’re on camera. But once you take those cameras kind of on the road with us, back at our house, it’s very different. It took a little bit of getting used to. It’s not, I would say, completely natural to me to be that exposed. But the showrunner, Mike LaHaie, and Left/Right, our partners with ESPN, they were great, and we worked through it.”
