Don’t worry, Thursday. We didn’t forget about you, especially considering that Law & Order, Law + Order: SVU, Grey’s Anatomy, and 9-1-1 return with new episodes. But what about our Friday night favorites Fire Country and Sheriff Country?

Sadly, there are no new episodes tonight, but both shows will be back in early 2026. When do Fire Country and Sheriff Country return with new installments? Here’s everything you need to know.

Are Fire Country and Sheriff Country New Tonight (January 2)?

Nope. Unfortunately, it’s a night of reruns on CBS. Sheriff Country “Out of Office” (Season 1, Episode 4) airs from 8:00-9:00 p.m. ET, followed by the Fire Country episode “Goodbye For Now” (Season 4, Episode 1).

The night concludes with a rerun of Boston Blue (“Code of Ethics”).

When Do Fire Country and Sheriff Country Return With New Episodes?

Both Fire Country and Sheriff Country are off for the next few weeks. The two shows return with new episodes on Friday, February 27, 2026.
