If you have, look no further than the Savannah Bananas, the viral exhibition baseball team that brings a potassium-pumped twist to America’s favorite pastime. With the vibrant team’s upcoming game against the Firefighters on July 6, fans are going bananas (too easy?) trying to find a way to watch the game for free at home. For those who haven’t heard of the team, the Savannah Bananas pride themselves on bringing audiences the fastest and most fun game of baseball, or rather Banana Ball, the world has ever seen. They’re best known for breaking into choreographed dances on the field and incorporating bright yellow kilts into their uniform. The team has also been known to celebrate getting a score with country line dances while featuring a variety of dance squads, such as the Banana Nanas, a team of senior citizens, the Mananas, a group of cheerleaders sporting dad bods, and their youth dance team, the Banana Splitz. If that isn’t a-peel-ing enough (these are the jokes, people!), they even have a 10-foot-tall pitcher who walks on stilts! 

As part of their Banana Ball World Tour, the team is looking to come out as top banana after their big game against the Firefighters at Fenway Park on July 6. Here’s how to watch the action-packed, Vitamin B-filled game at home.

With a livestream starting at 3:30 p.m. ET, the game will be available to stream exclusively on The Roku Channel’s Roku Sports Channel in the U.S. Fans will be absolutely stoked to learn that the game will be completely free to watch on the platform.

“There is truly no sports experience with the same action as a Savannah Bananas game,” says Joe Franzetta, the Head of Sports at Roku Media. Franzetta states that Roku plans to utilize “the power of our platform to amplify the game directly to both diehard audiences and millions of new fans,” promising “a live sports experience like you’ve never seen before.”

Franzetta isn’t the only one fired up about the upcoming game. Savannah Bananas owner Jesse Cole announces that their game against the Firefighters will be “one of the biggest and most exciting games of the year.” “We can’t wait to bring the fast-paced game of Banana Ball to new fans all over the country on Roku,” Cole says. “And you better believe that we’ve got some surprises in store for Fenway!”
