What Brittney Griner remembers about heated Caitlin Clark moment
Brittney Griner knows she said something about Caitlin Clark, but can’t recall exactly what it was.
Griner, who plays for the Atlanta Dream, fouled out in a May 22 game against the Fever where Clark may have exaggerated some contact to draw a foul in an 81-76 Indiana win.

Griner was then seen on the bench venting her frustration.
Lip readers and internet sleuths were set ablaze, speculating that she said “f–king white girl,” but Griner is denying that.
“I remember fouling out, being mad,” Griner told Outkick’s Dan Zaksheske on Sunday. “I really can’t remember what I said, honestly.”
When asked if it was possible that she said “f–king white girl,” Griner denied any such comments.
“I know it wasn’t that because I wouldn’t use that type of language,” Griner said.
The reporter offered Griner the option of watching the video to help refresh her memory, but Griner disagreed that it would help her decipher what she truly said.
Griner had a tough game against the Fever, scoring five points and grabbing seven rebounds in the loss.
Clark then missed time due to a quadriceps injury that was announced after the next game.
Clark returned on Saturday with a bonkers 3-point barrage, scoring 32 points with nine assists and eight rebounds in a 102-88 win over the Liberty.
“Why would I be out there to play 20 minutes?” she said to reporters. “I’m out there to win and give everything I have for this team.”
Let’s be honest—no matter how stressful the day gets, a good viral video can instantly lift your mood. Whether it’s a funny pet doing something silly, a heartwarming moment between strangers, or a wild dance challenge, viral videos are what keep the internet fun and alive.
