Week 8 picks, odds, props for “SNF”
The long-awaited matchup between Aaron Rodgers and the Packers has finally arrived.
Rodgers’ former mentee, Jordan Love, leads the NFC-leading Packers (4-1-1) into Acrisure Stadium for a “Sunday Night Football” showdown against the Steelers (4-2).

Green Bay is a 3-point favorite, with the over/under checking in at 45.5 total points, per DraftKings.
This will be an entertaining nightcap to Sunday’s slate, as the Packers’ stout defense, led by Micah Parsons, looks to spoil Rodgers’ reunion with his NFC North faithful.
Packers vs. Steelers odds, prediction
The turnover battle will be key in this one, as the Packers enter Week 8 tied for the second-fewest giveaways in the NFL, with only three (two interceptions, one fumble) in total.
On the other hand, Mike Tomlin’s defense has forced 10 turnovers (five interceptions, five fumbles) on the year, tied for fourth in the league.
Despite this high amount, the Steelers have struggled to contain offenses in the passing game, particularly tight ends. Pittsburgh ranks second in the NFL in passing yards allowed per game, surrendering 258.8 to opposing quarterbacks.
In addition, tight ends have averaged 67.7 receiving yards per contest and have scored in four of six games against Pittsburgh’s defense, per CBS Sports.
Cue Love and a Packers offense that has scored 27-plus in five of six games.

Although there is no definitive wide receiver one for Green Bay, Romeo Doubs leads the Packers’ pass-catchers in receptions (24) on the season, but right behind him is third-year tight end Tucker Kraft (23).
The South Dakota State product has racked up a team-high 326 receiving yards and four touchdowns on the season.
Last week, Kraft caught five receptions for 58 yards and a touchdown against the Cardinals, including a clutch 15-yard connection with Love on fourth down, which led to the Josh Jacobs go-ahead score.
Betting on the NFL?
Matt LaFleur is sure to scheme up against a suspect Steelers’ secondary.
In honor of National Tight Ends Day, I’m confident Kraft will have yet another productive outing and pace the Packers’ receivers.
His line of over/under 51.5 receiving yards falls slightly lower than his season average of 54.3 per game.
I see value in taking the over. I’m rolling with Kraft and Love to connect on all cylinders for this primetime clash.
The play: Tucker Kraft Over 51.5 receiving yards (-114, DraftKings)
