Watch the Blake Lively, Justin Baldoni kiss he claims she improvised

Justin Baldoni claimed in a new legal filing that Blake Lively improvised an off-script kissing scene during the filming of “It Ends With Us.”

An exhibit filed by Wayfarer and others on Nov. 13 included a brief clip in which Lively and Baldoni — who co-starred in the movie — share a light kiss while passing in a hallway in a hospital.

Per People, attorneys for Baldoni alleged in documents that the “Gossip Girl” alum, 38, “added [the scene] to the script, in which her character kissed Baldoni’s character in every take, although there was no kiss in the script.”

The footage from May 2023 — which is just over one minute long — shows Lively, who plays Lily, come across Baldoni, who plays neurosurgeon Ryle, as he works at the hospital.

Lily approaches a confused Ryle in the hallway, apologizing for interrupting his day and planting a quick kiss on his lips.

She then leaves Ryle, telling him she “happen[s] to love him too” on the way out.

Baldoni’s character watches her exit with a bemused expression, tossing his phone before saying, “Alright, cut.”

A rep for Lively did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment on the deleted scene.

Lively, 38, sued the film’s director Baldoni, 41, for alleged sexual harassment and retaliation in December 2024.

Baldoni denied wrongdoing and hit back with a $400 million countersuit against Lively, her husband Ryan Reynolds, as well as others, in January, though it was later dismissed by the judge.

Lively’s original complaint accused the director of alleged “improvised physical intimacy that had not been rehearsed, choreographed or discussed with Ms. Lively.”

After a January 2024 meeting between Lively and Reynolds, as well as producers, Wayfarer agreed to employ an intimacy coordinator and stated that there would be “no more improvising of kissing,” per Lively’s complaint.

Baldoni’s legal team had previously claimed only scripted kissing scenes were filmed before the Hollywood strikes.

However, they also claimed the alleged new unscripted kissing scene was filmed prior to the industry strikes on May 13, 2023.

“Lively also complains that there was inappropriate and improvised kissing during the first period of filming, before the strike break,” Baldoni’s since-dismissed complaint read, per People.

“But in fact, the only two kissing scenes filmed during the initial filming period were both scenes that included kisses as written in the script. These kissing scenes were not improvised.”

On Wednesday, alleged texts between Baldoni and the film’s source material author, Colleen Hoover, emerged as well.

The “It Ends With Us” author allegedly wrote that she “felt forced to choose” between Lively and Baldoni amid their feud and that she was “disappointed” in the director, in alleged communications from 2024.

The alleged texts were filed by Wayfarer on Nov. 10.
