“Are y’all a fan of Coldplay? Well, so is Sophie Turner,” Murphy started the discussion while guest hosting “The Scoop.”
“And I think Chris Martin is a fan of her because they [are] reportedly going on multiple dates in London.”
“We’re so obsessed with this,” Real added over the rumored new couple. “And they’re both newly single because Sophie, she’s been with a British aristocrat, Peregrine Pearson, on and off.”
“As one is,” host Jenna Bush Hager quipped. “Doesn’t that feel like ‘Bridgerton’ or something?”
“‘Bridgerton’ no more because they called it quits in September,” Real explained. “And then he ended things this June with Dakota Johnson after eight years together.”
Real went on to admit that he thought Turner and Martin dating is a “little bit unexpected,” but was coming to terms with it after “chatting through it” with Murphy, Bush Hager and guest co-host Dylan Dreyer.
“They’re both British, they’re both beautiful, and I feel like they both probably enjoy a bit of banter.”
“We reached out to the sources and the reps,” Murphy chimed in. “They haven’t gotten back to us yet, but it’s on my vision board for them.”
“That Coldplay kiss cam, it could be them!”
Moving on to their next topic, Murphy and Real dished on how Cher and boyfriend Alexander Edward “match each other’s vibes” despite their 40-year age gap.
They also discussed Stefon Diggs revealing he and Cardi B are expecting a baby boy, which the NFL player was “manifesting.”
Back in July, Real and Murphy made their “Watch What Happens Live” bartending debut, where they served drinks and spilled tea with Andy Cohen, “Real Housewives of Miami” star Julia Lemigova and designer Isaac Mizrahi.
