Follow the latest on the shocking murder of Ukrainian refugee Iryna Zarutska in Charlotte:
Zarutska, who had come to the US in 2022 seeking safety after Russia’s invasion of her country, pulls up her legs, which can be seen spattered with blood in the video.
She then falls to the floor about 15 seconds later, the video shows.
Another voice — believed to be that of a fellow passenger — then says “he got that white girl.”

The video shows multiple passengers looking shocked and confused, before a man in a gray hoodie stands up and follows Brown down the train, while a woman in red glances over at Zarutska before turning back and looking out the window.
Brown was seen watching Zarutska for some time after she sat down in a seat in front of him, before pulling out what appeared to be a pocket knife.
