Travis Kelce quizzed on Taylor Swift wedding in new ESPN interview
Jason Kelce wasted no time grilling younger brother Travis Kelce about his upcoming nuptials to fiancée Taylor Swift.
Picking up right where his internet-shattering “New Heights” interview left off, the retired Eagles center-turned-ESPN analyst sat down with the Chiefs tight end Sunday ahead of the team’s “Monday Night Football” clash in Jacksonville and started with the question “everybody wants to know.”

“Trav, when’s the wedding?” Jason asked Travis, who replied, “shut the f–k up” before bursting out laughing next to teammate Patrick Mahomes and Chiefs head coach Andy Reid.
“Get this guy out of here,” the future groom continued. “I was wondering what he was gonna ask me.”
Travis, who celebrated his 36th birthday Sunday, is roughly two months removed from his August proposal to Swift, 35. The three-time Super Bowl champion popped the question to Swift outdoors after the couple’s famed “New Heights” appearance with Jason, 37.
“He really crushed it when it came to surprising me,” Swift said Friday on “The Graham Norton Show,” according to People. “We had actually filmed a podcast episode … so we filmed the podcast for about three or four hours … and meanwhile, behind his house, he was having the whole back garden turned into this.”
Travis, who scored a “10 out of 10” from Swift on the proposal, also received high marks on her sparkler, an old mine brilliant-cut diamond ring designed by jeweler Kindred Lubeck of Artifex Fine in collaboration with the tight end.
“He designed it with this amazing jeweler — Kindred Lubeck is her name. She does all of her gold engraving by hand,” Swift said Friday on the “Heart Breakfast” radio show, noting she “showed [Kelce] a video” of her designs over a year ago.
“He was just paying attention to everything, it turns out, because when I saw the ring, I [gasped]. I was like, ‘I know who made that!”
Swift has been savoring engagement bliss while also promoting her 12th studio album, “The Life of a Showgirl,” which dropped Friday.
She is set to appear on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on Monday in New York — hundreds of miles from EverBank Stadium, where the Chiefs are hoping to get their third win of the season after starting 0-2.
Travis, now in his 13th season with the Chiefs, said he’s taking a “year by year” approach as retirement buzz swirls.
“I take it day by day, year by year, I just love coming into work with these guys right here. That culture’s become my way of life. The expectation, year in and year out, is Super Bowl or failure. The eye in the sky doesn’t lie, baby, you see those first two games and we’re a few plays here and there, a few decisions here and there away from being an undefeated football team.”
The Chiefs return to Arrowhead next week for a “Sunday Night Football” matchup against the Lions.
Swift, who made her first Chiefs appearance in September 2023, has quietly taken in two home games this season.
