“Dean, my ex, when we met, he was telling me that he had a big crush on me,” she recalled on her “misSPELLING” podcast Monday.
“He would always have his hockey game with all his buddies on Wednesday night, and he would always get out of there early. They’d be in the locker room [saying], ‘You gotta go home and see your girlfriend,’” she explained, referencing the day the show would air.
“I always thought, ‘Are you just making that up to get with me?’ But, no.”
However, McDermott’s crush on her TV character escalated to the point where he called her Donna during sex.
“I feel like I totally know at some point during one of our sessions during sex, that he said, ‘Oh my little Donna Martin,’” she candidly confessed.
“I might have giggled back like Donna,” Spelling added.
This is not the first time that Spelling, 52, has made odd confessions about her sex life with McDermott, 58.
Back in April, she shared that she wished their stolen sex tape had been leaked to the public, adding, “We never locked our s–t up.
Spelling recalled that her ex’s friend allegedly tried to sell the cheeky home movie to Vivid Video, but the company did not purchase it.
“[Vivid] actually contacted us and said, ‘We want to let you know we didn’t accept it,’” the “Scary Movie 2” star explained. “I said, ‘Why? Were my angles not good?’”
McDermott and the “Saved by the Bell” alum announced their separation in June 2023 after 17 years of marriage.
She then filed for divorce nine months later.
The exes share five children: son Liam, 18, daughter Stella, 17, daughter Hattie, 13, son Finn, 12, and son Beau, 8. McDermott is also a dad to son Jack, 26, whom he shares with Mary Jo Eustace.
