According to the Daily Mail, the 29-year-old actor “cracked his head” after he suffered a fall at Leavesden Studios in Watford, England on Friday.
The incident reportedly occurred during a stunt gone wrong.
Holland was hospitalized and treated for a mild concussion, while no one else on the set was injured, The Hollywood Reporter confirmed.
The outlet also reported that Holland is “taking a break from filming for several days.”
Sony is reportedly meeting Monday to discuss filming plans.
The Post has reached out to Holland’s rep and Sony Pictures for comment.
The day after the incident, Holland made a rare public appearance with his fiancée and co-star, Zendaya, at Christie’s auction house in London. The British actor hosted a Posh Pub Quiz with The Brothers Trust, the charity he runs with his three brothers.
The couple, who got engaged late last year, posed for a photo at Saturday’s event that was shared by guest Laura Hope Whitaker, co-founder of Java Joy.
Holland wore a black suit with a white button-up shirt and black bowtie, while Zendaya, 29, stunned in a black dress.
“Spider-Man: Brand New Day” began filming in Glasgow, Scotland, on Aug. 1, marking Holland’s fourth standalone turn as the web-slinging superhero.
Holland teased his new costume for the film on Instagram shortly before filming kicked off, and he also revealed the superhero flick’s release date.
“Are you ready?” he wrote. “7.31.2026.”
Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” is set to pick up after the events of 2021’s “Spider-Man: No Way Home” and before those of “Avengers: Doomsday.”
Zendaya is expected to reprise her role Spider-Man’s love interest, Michelle “MJ” Jones. Other MCU stars set to appear in the film include Jacob Batalon as Peter and MJ’s BFF, Ned Leeds, Mark Ruffalo as the Hulk, Jon Bernthal as the Punisher and Michael Mando as the Scorpion.
Meanwhile, “Stranger Things” star Sadie Sink and “The Bear” actress Liza Colón-Zayas have both been confirmed to join the cast.
Kevin Feige, the president of Marvel Studios, teased the fourth “Spider-Man” movie to Collider in July.
“I think there’s a promise at the end of ‘No Way Home,’ that for as sad as it is that Peter is forgotten by everyone in his life, we are seeing for the first time in the Tom Holland ‘Spider-Man’ stories, him being a proper Spider-Man,” Feige, 52, shared.
“Him being by himself, dedicated to saving the city, and dealing with – for lack of better terms – street-level crime, as opposed to world-ending events,” Feige added.
“Spider-Man: Brand New Day” is expected to be released in theaters on July 31, 2026.
