Last year, the team got in the spirit with the theme of “VHS Rewind,” paying homage to iconic ‘90s and 2000s characters, including those from “Austin Powers,” “Legally Blonde” and “Beetlejuice.”

For 2025, the hosts delivered once again.

Craig Melvin

Craig Melvin is playing that funky music. As seen on Instagram, the anchor dressed like the late musician Prince and performed “Purple Rain” with a guitar in hand.

Willie Geist

Viva Las Vegas! Willie Geist dressed up as Wayne Newton, known as “Mr. Las Vegas.” The singer and actor has performed in Sin City since 1958.

Straight out of a scene from a Vegas performance, the host had showgirls holding feathers as an announcer introduced “Wayne Newton.”

Geist broke through singing along to the performer’s song.

Jenna Bush Hager

Jenna Bush Hager is posing for the runway. The anchor dressed up as fashion icon and former editor-in-chief of Vogue, Anna Wintour.

She donned Wintour’s signature blonde bob and black sunglasses.

Savannah Guthrie

Savannah Guthrie posed as Miranda Priestly from “Devil Wear’s Prada,” which was heavily inspired by Anna Wintour.

The star came out of an elevator talking on her phone to a presumed assistant about what this boss in action needs — much like in the 2006 comedy-drama.

Sheinelle Jones

Fans are crazy in love with Sheinelle Jones’ costume. The journalist dressed as Beyoncé from her latest album cover, “Cowboy Carter.”

Jones even showed up on a white horse holding the giant Texas state flag.

She then hopped on stage and danced to the singer’s hit single, “Texas Hold ‘Em.”

Laura Jarrett

Goo-oo-oo-oo-ood morning, Bayside! This Halloween, Laura Jarrett was Lisa Turtle (Lark Voorhies) from the iconic ’80s sitcom “Saved By the Bell.”

And of course, Lisa got a phone call on her giant cellular phone from her classmate A.C. Slater — a.k.a Mario Lopez.

The actor rocked a mullet and held his letterman jacket in one arm.

Al Roker and Carson Daly

These two are going in for one more round. Carson Daly took on Rocky Balboa while Al Roker was his competitor, Clubber Lang.

The pair reenacted a scene from the film, pretending to box one another before embracing in a hug.

At one point, Daly ran to the “Rocky” theme song, throwing punches at the camera, like Sylvester Stallone did in the original movie.

Dylan Dreyer

Can’t take our eyes off of Dylan Dreyer.

The meteorologist dressed up as the one and only Frankie Valli. Dreyer and her backup singers took on Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, all wearing red suit jackets like the original group.

The “Today” team performed the band’s 1963 song, “Walk Like a Man.”

Peter Alexander

It’s five o’clock somewhere. This year, Peter Alexander was the late singer Jimmy Buffett. The journalist sported a bald cap with some grey hair coming out the side like Buffett, his signature t-shirt, khakis and sandals. He danced and sang along to Buffett’s 1977 hit, “Margaritaville” while also strumming on a guitar.
