Timothy Busfield has been accused of sexual abuse by a third alleged victim.

The embattled “West Wing” star, 68, was accused of sexually abusing a 16-year-old girl “several years ago” in Sacramento, Calif., per a pretrial detention motion filed by prosecutors in Bernalillo County, New Mexico, on Jan. 14.

Colin Swift, the alleged victim’s father, reported the incident to investigators on Jan. 13, according to the motion obtained by The Post.

The new accusation came shortly after Busfield surrendered to the Albuquerque Police Department on Tuesday in connection with two counts of criminal sexual contact of a minor and one count of child abuse. Busfield has denied those allegations.

“While auditioning for [Busfield] at B Street Theatre, the 16-year-old reported that [Busfield] kissed her and put his hands down her pants and touched her privates,” the newly filed motion alleged.

Busfield allegedly “begged the family” not to report the purported incident to law enforcement “if he received therapy,” per the motion.

The motion added that Swift, who himself is a therapist, allegedly agreed “that was the best thing to do” at the time.

The “Field of Dreams” star reportedly founded the B Street Theatre, originally called Theatre for Children, Inc, in Sacramento in 1986.

Busfield, who is married to “Little House on the Prairie” alum Melissa Gilbert, had a warrant put out for his arrest in New Mexico on Jan. 9 in connection with two counts of criminal sexual contact of a minor and one count of child abuse.

Authorities alleged that Busfield engaged in unlawful sexual conduct with 11-year-old twin boys while directing the Fox show “The Cleaning Lady” in 2024, the police department confirmed to The Post. Busfield has denied the allegations.

He is accused of inappropriately touching one of the boys three or four times, and the other five or six times, according to the warrant.

The alleged abuse began in 2022 when the boys were 7 years old, according to court documents.

However, the shocking allegations weren’t investigated until November 2024, when a physician notified police about suspected sexual abuse and grooming after examining one of the children at the University of New Mexico Hospital, per the criminal complaint.

The “Revenge of the Nerds” star allegedly admitted to police that it was “highly likely” he touched kids on the set of the Fox show, and noted that there were no specific rules regarding physical contact with children on set.

“I mean, I’m always around people, right? It would be, you know, in front of the parents. There would never be a weird moment about it,” Busfield, who described the show’s set as a “playful environment,” said during a Nov. 3, 2025, interview, according to the arrest warrant.

“I don’t really remember picking those boys up,” he reportedly added. “I remember picking up the boy who followed them. I’d pick him up and he’d be giggling and that would sort of get him ready to act.”

Busfield’s lawyer released a video of the actor-turned-director denying the allegations against him shortly after he surrendered to authorities on Tuesday.

The “Thirtysomething” alum claimed that he “did not do anything to those little boys” in the video message his lawyer shared with TMZ, and called the accusations “all lies.”

“I’m going to fight it. I’m going to fight it with a great team, and I’m going to be exonerated,” he said in the video. “I know I am because this is all so wrong and all lies.”

Heavily armed federal agents later rammed down the door of Busfield’s upstate New York home during a raid less than one hour after he turned himself in to police in Albuquerque, per the Daily Mail.

The outlet reported that at least 10 US Marshal officers from the New York Regional Fugitive Task Force busted into the star’s Highland Lake home, which is located in the Catskill Mountains, roughly 20 minutes from the Pennsylvania border.

Gilbert, who married Busfield in 2013, released a statement to say that she is standing by her husband amid the allegations against him on Tuesday. Gilbert is not accused of any wrongdoing.

“During this period, her focus is on supporting and caring for their very large family, as they navigate this moment,” the 61-year-old’s rep, Ame Van Iden, said in a statement to The Post.

“Melissa stands with and supports her husband and will address the public at an appropriate time,” the statement added. “We ask that their privacy be respected.”

Busfield is currently being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Albuquerque as he faces two counts of criminal sexual contact of a minor and one count of child abuse.

Prosecutors are seeking to keep the embattled “Stripes” actor in jail pending his trial on the child sex abuse charges, per the pretrial detention motion obtained by The Post.

The Post has reached out to Busfield and Gilbert’s reps for comment.
