Tim Allen paid a visit to The View Monday where he got to reunite with his old friend, Whoopi Goldberg. But the interview took a turn when Goldberg finally notified Allen that he had lipstick on his face during the entire segment.
Allen had ended his interview by talking about the highly anticipated cameo his former Home Improvement co-stars will be making in Shifting Gears Season 2 premiere, which will premiere on ABC this Wednesday.

“I just realized. I was thinking what is that? It’s me,” Goldberg told Allen. “You have a streak of lipstick on the side of your face.”
Allen seemed shocked as he demanded, “What the – you just tell me that now?”
Ana Navarro took her napkin and helped wipe his face off as he playfully yelled at Goldberg, “Why didn’t you say something to me?!”
“I just did!” Goldberg fired back.
“Now [the interview is] half over though,” Allen complained. “All of America thinks I’ve got leprosy or something.”
Allen was visiting to promote the new season of his ABC sitcom Shifting Gears, in which he plays the widowed owner of a classic car workshop whose estranged daughter move back in with him, with her kids in tow.
He revealed that he told ABC he specifically wanted to star in a sitcom about a man who lost his wife.
“I told ABC I wanted to do another one, if I did, it I would be about a single guy who lost his wife,” he explained. “I don’t like it but I find it interesting people that grieve over something but can get on with their lives.”
He was beaming as he also shared what it was like to reunite with his Home Improvement co-stars.
“We hid it from the audience. When the audience saw it, they lost their minds,” he said, saying his co-stars are still “like a family” to him.
The View airs on weekdays at 11/10c on ABC.
