Prime Video will once again broadcast most of the Thursday night games during the 2025 season, with NBC and Peacock airing the first regular season matchup of the 25-26 campaign and FOX, CBS, and Netflix streaming games on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day (more on that below).

The first Thursday night game of the regular season takes place on September 4 when the Philadelphia Eagles begin their title defense against a familiar foe: the Dallas Cowboys. The first official Thursday Night Football game happens during Week 2 (September 11) when Jordan Love and the Green Bay Packers host Jayden Daniels and the Washington Commanders.

Tonight’s Hall of Fame matchup between the Chargers and Lions isn’t technically a Thursday Night Football game, but it’ll air on NBC and Peacock starting at 8:00 p.m. ET.

Will Amazon’s Prime Video Have Thursday Night Football In 2025?

Yes! Prime Video’s regular season coverage begins in Week 2 (September 11) when the Green Bay Packers host the Washington Commanders.

Along with their regular season coverage, Amazon will air a preseason game as well as a Wild Card playoff game.
