‘The Valley’ Exclusive Clip: Kristen Doute Says Janet Caperna Has An “Alter Ego” When She’s Filming
It’s the Capernas vs. the Bookos (and Kristen Doute) in the third and final part of The Valley‘s Season 2 reunion.
With Janet Caperna doubling down on her concerns about Danny Booko‘s drinking habits in last week’s reunion episode, the two couples have become more fraught than ever before. By the looks of this week’s episode, we’re not so sure anything can bring these people back together, Andy Cohen included.

In an exclusive clip obtained by Decider, Doute calls Janet out for having an “alter ego” when the cameras start rolling.
“I think you’ve developed an alter ego and that’s who you are on camera,” Doute says. Janet, of course, denies her accusation and reminds the Vanderpump Rules alum that their friendship had been in a “bad” place for an entire year before they started filming The Valley’s first season. Still, Doute insisted, “It’s like you have an alter ego and that’s who you act like on camera. You act different when you’re not on camera.”
When Danny chimes in to agree, both Janet and Jason Caperna jump down his throat, telling him that they “didn’t even know” each other before they started filming. That claim doesn’t sit right with Nia Sanchez Booko, who reminds the Capernas that they were the first couple to meet their twin daughters—Isabella and Zariah—when they were first born almost two years ago.
“You weren’t the first couple to come over and meet our children, our daughters, when they were born? The first couple dancing with our son in our living room?” Nia fires back. “We didn’t know you before we were filming?”
Jason eventually admits that they “hit it off” when they first met, to which Nia, on the verge of going into labor from the stressful conversation, adds, “Exactly. So don’t you dare say we weren’t friends, we didn’t know you before filming. That’s wrong. Again, more lies.”
Doute, meanwhile, reiterates that Janet “started acting differently” when they began the show, prompting Janet to remind Doute of a Season 1 plot point pertaining to Michelle Saniei.
“Well, when we started filming, you announced that I said Michelle was racist, which I didn’t. And that changed a lot for me,” Janet says, to which Doute replies, “I didn’t make it up.”
Watch how it all plays out when The Valley airs tonight at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo, and tomorrow on Peacock.
