The Broncos pass rush was relentless all day.

Zero

Jets quarterback Justin Fields was abysmal.

He completed 9 of 17 passes for 45 yards and was sacked nine times, many of them on him for not getting the ball out quickly.

The Jets looked scared to let him throw the ball for long periods of the game.

Unsung hero

Broncos safety Talanoa Hufanga made a huge play on third down on the next-to-last Jets play.

It looked like Garrett Wilson was going to catch the ball on the sideline and move the Jets into field goal territory but Hufanga knocked the ball out of Wilson’s hands.

Key stat

The Jets had -10 passing yards, the fewest in franchise history and the fewest since the Bears had -20 against the Lions in 1981.

Quote

“I just didn’t know exactly what the plan was. Once I figured it out, I was disappointed. I will just say that.”

— Garrett Wilson on his frustration with the Jets allowing the clock to run out at the end of the first half.
