After months of following the fashion during production, we are finally getting a sneak peek of the film itself.
The teaser opens with a pair of bright red Valentino Rockstud pumps walking through an office, with clips of a runway show being prepped sprinkled throughout.
There’s a close-up on a mesh corset and oversized hoop earrings; a bottle of champagne is popped …
The shoes, of course, are revealed to belong to Miranda Priestley.
As she steps into the Runway elevator wearing a black-and-white houndstooth plaid skirt, black blouse, red patent belt and — of course — her signature sunglasses, the doors reopen at the last second
In walks Andy Sachs, in all her high-fashion glory, wearing a vintage Jean Paul Gaultier pin-striped waistcoat and pants with jewelry from Natasha Schweitzer and Jemma Wynne.
The iconic Runway editor acknowledges Sachs. “Took you long enough,” remarks Priestley.
As the doors close, Sachs puts on black sunglasses that match Priestley’s, indicating that the balance of power has begun to shift.
The trailer mimics the scene in which Priestley is introduced in the first film, as she steps out of her car in a pair of red Alaïa heels, making her way into the lobby and onto an elevator that everyone quickly vacates so that she can ride up alone.
Anne Hathaway, who is celebrating her 43rd birthday today, was the first to post the trailer this morning.
“It’s everyone’s birthday 🥳🎁 😎 👠 #43 #DWP2,” she wrote.
With the May 1, 2026, release date still almost six months away — and the Met Gala just three days later — the countdown to total “Devil Wears Prada” domination has officially begun.
Let’s be honest—no matter how stressful the day gets, a good viral video can instantly lift your mood. Whether it’s a funny pet doing something silly, a heartwarming moment between strangers, or a wild dance challenge, viral videos are what keep the internet fun and alive.
