The three-year contract extension for the 29-year-old star receiver is worth $96 million over three years.

McLaurin now becomes one of the highest-paid receivers in the NFL, with an average of $32 million per season. His deal matches the salary of the Eagles’ AJ Brown, who is the sixth highest paid in the NFL.
The Commanders also brought in receiver Deebo Samuel this offseason to play alongside McLaurin in what is expected to be an elite offense in the NFC East.

Washington went 12-5 last season with rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels, coming in second place in the NFC East, led in the receiving department by McLaurin.
McLaurin caught 13 touchdowns last season for 1,096 yards for the surging Commanders.
