Street Relations Inc., a crisis PR firm employed by Baldoni and Wayfarer Studios, requested more money last year over fears about Lively’s friend Taylor Swift’s ardent legion of fans, according to TMZ.
According to legal documents obtained by the outlet Tuesday, someone from Baldoni’s team tacked on an extra $30,000 to deal with possible retaliation by Swifties.
“The social team are now worried about Blake activating the Taylor Swift fan base, which is a major concern,” read an email dated August 7, 2024. “With this in mind and to ensure Justin and the studio are 100% protected moving forward, they have now changed the fee to $30,000 per month due to the uptick in social chatter.”
The following day, an invoice from Jed Wallace’s Street Relations Inc. was sent to Baldoni billing Wayfarer Studios, his company, $30,000.
Reps for Swift, Lively, Baldoni and Street Relations Inc. did not immediately respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.
Lively, 37, has been embroiled in a long-running lawsuit against Baldoni, 41, since she alleged in December 2024 that the actor sexually harassed her on set.
Baldoni denied the “Gossip Girl” alum’s allegations and countersued her — only for a judge to throw out the $400 million lawsuit in June.
Swift, 35, became involved in the legal wrangling when a text exchange from Lively to Baldoni was included in the “Jane the Virgin” alum’s January filing.
In it, Lively referred to Swift and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, as her “dragons,” comparing herself to the character Khalessi from “Game of Thrones.”
The revelation has reportedly taken a toll on the once-close friendship between Swift and Lively.
A source recently told Page Six that Swift will “forever be furious at how Blake quite clearly was using her for clout and leverage in her dealings with Justin” and “really hates that Blake would even think like that, let alone write the things she did.”
Swift has attempted to distance herself from the legal tsunami, with her rep insisting in June that the pop star was “not involved” in the scandal while busy doing her Eras Tour.
On Tuesday, the Grammy winner announced that she has new music on the way in her 12th album, “The Life of a Showgirl.”
It is unclear whether the project, which appears to be produced by Max Martin and Shellback, will feature any lyrics regarding Lively’s legal war.
