Taylor Swift gives emotional speech during concert in new ‘Eras Tour’ trailer



A new trailer for Taylor Swift’s forthcoming Disney+ docuseries spotlights the emotional speech she delivered during her final Eras Tour concert.

The “Opalite” singer expressed her gratitude to thousands of Swifties in the stands at BC Place Stadium in Vancouver on Dec. 8, 2024, according to a teaser for “Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour | The Final Show.”

“We’ve had so long to prepare for the end of this tour, and we get to play one last show for you here tonight,” she told concertgoers at the time.

“I want to thank every single one of you for being a part of the most thrilling chapter of my entire life to date,” she added.

Swift, 35, announced in the teaser that the film, which premieres Dec. 12, will include a new acoustic set.

She was seen singing the beginning lyrics to her song “Long Live” — the final track of her 2010 album, “Speak Now” — while playing the piano in a sparkly purple gown.

Other songs captured in the trailer include her 2024 songs “Who’s Afraid of Little Old Me?” and “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart.”

Swift’s blockbuster Eras Tour spanned about 21 months from March 2023 to December 2024.

Her final performance was captured in the docuseries, which she announced in October.

The six-episode special features behind-the-scenes moments from her tour, including rehearsals, her life on the road and plenty of PDA with her fiancé, Travis Kelce.

Other notable faces featured in the project include Sabrina Carpenter, who opened for several of Swift’s shows, as well as her collaborators Gracie Abrams and Ed Sheeran.

“The Eras Tour | The Final Show, featuring the entire Tortured Poets Department set, and the first two episodes of The End of an Era, a 6-episode behind-the-scenes docuseries will be yours December 12th on @disneyplus,” she announced in an Instagram post at the time.

Swift was also busy writing two new albums during the record-breaking world tour, releasing “The Tortured Poets Department” in April 2024 and “The Life of a Showgirl” in October 2025.

The pop star also re-recorded her “Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) and” and “1989 (Taylor’s Version)” while touring the globe.
