Sylvester Stallone’s wife, Jennifer Flavin, reveals shocking theory on rise of trans kids in Hollywood
Sylvester Stallone’s wife, Jennifer Flavin, believes there are a few reasons children of celebrities are more likely to identify as transgender.
“I just think Hollywood is, you know, it’s all about expression,” Flavin, 57, said during an appearance on “The Katie Miller Podcast” in a clip obtained by Fox News Digital. “So, you know, however you want to express yourself. If you feel like a cat today, you’re a cat. And it’s so loosey-goosey.”

She continued, “I don’t think that we’re really understanding that these kids are not our accessories. They’re little human beings that need structure. And structure is really important for them because it helps their brain organize everything.”
According to Flavin, celebrities’ wealth also plays a part, as it leads to a lack of structure in their kids’ lives.
“There’s just too much of everything,” she argued. “It gets really confusing for a little person.”
The former model went on to speak about raising her own three daughters with Stallone: Sophia, 29, Sistine, 27, and Scarlet, 23.
“It’s OK what you decide to be as an adult, but raise them just with good common sense,” she stressed.
“I mean, my daughters were tomboys,” she shared. “They preferred to wear pants than dresses, you know? And they loved sports. But I never said, ‘Oh, you’re a boy now.’ I just said, ‘You love to play sports, you love to hang out with boys, that’s awesome.’”
Flavin and Stallone, 79, have been married since May 1997, but it hasn’t always been smooth sailing. In August 2022, she filed for divorce from the “Rocky” star — only to take him back a month later.
There are multiple celebrities who have spoken out about supporting their children who identify as trans, including Liev Schreiber. In May, the actor recalled a “profound” moment with his daughter, Kai, whom he shares with his ex Naomi Watts.
“Kai was always who Kai is,” he told Variety ahead of a gala hosted by the Ali Forney Center, which provides housing and support for homeless LGBTQIA+ youth.
“But I suppose the most profound moment was her asking us to change her pronouns,” he explained, noting that it “didn’t feel like that big of a deal because Kai had been feminine for so long.”
Schreiber was proud of his 16-year-old for embracing her identity.
“Kai is such a fighter,” he marveled. “It’s important that she goes, ‘Hey, I am trans’ and ‘Look at me’ and ‘F–k you. F–k off.’”
