Sydney Sweeney wears white-hot corset dress to SCAD Savannah Film Festival

Sydney Sweeney mastered the sculpted look at the SCAD Savannah Film Festival on Monday evening, stepping out in a crisp, white one-shouldered minidress.
The “Euphoria” star, 28, wore a head-turning Stella McCartney design from the brand’s Spring 2026 collection, styled by Molly Dickson.

The architectural piece featured padded hips and a boned corset bodice with sheer white fabric draped on top, putting the dress’s internal structure on full display.
Sweeney accessorized the asymmetrical number with white slingback pumps, keeping the monochromatic moment clean and modern.
The actress was in Savannah, Ga., to receive the Spotlight Award for her performance in “Christy,” the upcoming biopic about professional boxer Christy Martin.
She posed for photos alongside Amanda Seyfried, her costar in the upcoming psychological thriller, “The Housemaid,” who received the Vanguard Award at the festival. Later, Sweeney changed into a strapless checked mini dress by Mimchik, with a brown belt at the bust, for the screening inside the Lucas Theatre for the Arts.

The sculptural dress marked another fashion-forward moment for Sweeney, who’s been making waves both on and off the red carpet in recent weeks.
On Saturday, she debuted a dramatic new bob haircut at the AFI screening of her film “Christy” in Los Angeles. Sweeney’s hairstylist, Glen Coco Oropeza, told Vogue the chop was meant to represent “transformation” and “power” — themes that run throughout her new film.
“Sydney was looking for a change and wanted to have a big hair moment for the red carpet to support her new movie, ‘Christy’,” added colorist Jacob Schwartz. “It felt like the perfect time to do something bold.”
The mini dress was less of a departure for the Spokane, Wash.-born actress, who often chooses curve-defining corsetry for red carpet appearances.
At the BFI London Film Festival earlier this month, she wore a pale pink Alexander McQueen gown with a sheer lace skirt and boned bodice and hips.
Her latest look debuted during Paris Fashion Week in September as part of McCartney’s “Wild Side” collection, which the brand describes as “a duality of feminine, feline elegance and masculine shapes” featuring “stronger, sexier attitudes… moulded outlines, sculptural draping and statement details.”
For “Christy,” which hits theaters Nov. 7, Sweeney underwent a dramatic physical transformation, reportedly gaining 30 pounds of muscle to portray the boxing legend.
The role marks a career milestone for the two-time Emmy nominee, who’s also producing the project.
