Sunny Hostin Calls Out ‘The View’ Co-Hosts For Traumatizing Her

Sunny Hostin has been left traumatized by her fellow co-hosts on The View.

With Halloween around the corner, the ladies devoted an entire Hot Topics segment to the increasingly horrifying decorations people have been putting outside of their homes. For instance, Hostin showed off a photo of someone’s garage, which was decorated to look like Pennywise from It was emerging from the inside.

“People are feeling so dark and depressed and sad that they don’t go to haunted houses anymore,” Hostin speculated on this morning’s episode. “They’re living in a haunted house. They’re doing that kind of thing.”

Getting in her daily jab at President Donald Trump, Joy Behar then quipped, “What’s a more haunted house than the White House?” to which Hostin replied, “Correct!”

Whoopi Goldberg—who, like, Sara Haines, shared her love of all things horror—agreed that decorations these days are much scarier than they were when she was growing up. However, the difference between Goldberg and Hostin is that the latter actually “believes” these fake clowns and animatronics are real.

Hostin, for her part, blamed her co-hosts on The View for her deep-rooted fears. “I get scared easily. You guys have tried to jump-scare me so many times,” she said, prompting producers to roll the tapes. In the hilarious montage of clips, someone dressed as Pennywise jumps out at Hostin and scares her on multiple different occasions. In one final clip, Hostin appears to be talking at the Hot Topics table when a fake snake is dropped from the rafters and onto her lap.

“This show has traumatized me!” she exclaimed.

Goldberg, meanwhile, happily took credit for one of the pranks. “I think that snake might’ve been my idea. That might’ve been my fault, that snake,” she said with a smile on her face.

The View airs on weekdays at 11/10c on ABC.
