“‘suki you never tweet anymore’ have you ever considered I wore pants so tight 6 months ago it caused a hernia & I’ve been too scared to tell you,” the singer, 33, posted.
Waterhouse went on to share a selfie from a hospital bed, which showed her wearing earbuds as a blue vape pen lay on her chest.
She also uploaded a photo of herself performing on a stage, wearing the black leather pants in question.
“Wild notification to get at 6 pm,” one X user responded to the admission.
“pants had a personal vendetta huh,” someone else quipped.
“New fear unlocked 💀,” another noted.
“on stage in leather trousers then attached to a drip in hospital later like a true 70s rockstar,” yet another fan wrote.
While many were relieved that Waterhouse is on the mend, several lectured her about vaping — especially in a hospital.
“this is hilarious, but also everyone do not vape in the hospital you could literally blow us all up ❤️,” one netizen urged.
“girl you can’t smoke after/before surgery,” another remarked.
“Girl what is wrong with you. You cant vape in your hospital room and if you are in the hospital you clearly shouldnt be for your health either 💀,” someone else argued.
The songstress seems to be aware of the dangers, however, as she replied, “so true,” to one X user who commented, “vape in the hospital is diabolical.”
Waterhouse is engaged to actor Robert Pattinson, 39. The couple welcomed a baby girl in March 2024.
