Stomach-turning photos show squalor of Brooklyn hoarder home where woman was found dead among 80 dogs

Nightmarish new photos show the utter squalor of a Brooklyn hoarder house where an elderly woman was found dead among her 80 neglected dogs — as rescuers were seen pulling some of the animals from the home Friday.

Images show the filthy, junk-packed interior of the Mill Basin house — crammed with piles of dog crates, cardboard boxes and a mattress on the floor — where the 73-year-old was discovered dead surrounded by her desperate dogs Thursday, officials said.

The unidentified woman, who shared the home with her sister, lived in a first floor packed with waist-high piles of trash and broken objects, the disturbing images show.

A city-issued “vacate” order was posted on the front door as workers removed at least seven dogs from the house on 66th Street and National Drive Friday.

“I hope the dogs are okay…I thought they were breeding them,” a postal worker visiting the house told The Post. “Sometimes, I’d smell urine or dog poop.”

The sisters’ small-breed pups were badly neglected, including some that had fur matted over their eyes and into dreadlocks — and one who was giving birth when police arrived, according to officials.

Neighbors called it a house of horrors where a nauseating smell frequently filled the air, and they often heard a cacophony of barking, according to ABC 7.

The elderly sisters apparently didn’t have electricity — meaning they didn’t have air conditioning during this week’s historic heatwave — and used flashlights at night, a neighbor told the outlet.

The cause of the woman’s death has not been determined.
