Now, many die-hard Star Wars have a new hope for the franchise.

Filoni, now the President and Chief Creative Office, has become a trusted force for many fans.

He started working directly with Lucas on the celebrated “Clone Wars” series, and most recently with Director Jon Favreau on “The Mandalorian.”

“He’s very talented and immersed in Star Wars,” Kennedy told Deadline and went on to say he’s like a “walking encyclopedia” and always has the answer when someone asks “Hey, can I do this with a lightsaber?”

Despite billions in box office returns, critics have accused Kennedy of saturating the Star Wars franchise with films.

It’s unclear how much time Filoni will have to develop new films — given the $4 billion dollars Disney paid for the franchise in 2012.

Following “Rise of Skywalker” in 2019, Disney paused Star Wars movies, as CEO Bob Iger admitted it produced too many movies too quickly, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Filoni will be working alongside Lynwen Brennan named Co-President at Lucasfilms. He’s was Executive Vice President and General Manager, known for his business acumen.

There are two new Star Wars films coming up, “The Mandalorian and Grogu,” out May 22 and Shawn Levy’s “Star Wars: Starfighter” slated for May 2027.

In the meantime fans are anxiously awaiting to see whether Filoni’s Jedi mind will raise the franchise from the swamps.

Let’s be honest—no matter how stressful the day gets, a good viral video can instantly lift your mood. Whether it’s a funny pet doing something silly, a heartwarming moment between strangers, or a wild dance challenge, viral videos are what keep the internet fun and alive.
