‘Special Forces’ star Mark Estes gushes over girlfriend Sommer Ray after Kristin Cavallari split

Mark Estes is head over heels for Sommer Ray.

The “Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test” star couldn’t help but gush about his new girlfriend during an exclusive interview with Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” while promoting Season 4 of the hit Fox competition reality series.

“It’s going awesome,” Estes, 25, said when asked how things are going with the fitness influencer.

The former Montana State football player — who captured headlines last year for his fiery, seven-month fling with Kristin Cavallari — explained that his relationship with Ray feels special in a way none of his past ones have.

“We’re both kind of on the same page, you know, with everything,” he shared. “We get along very well. She can tell how I’m feeling or how she’s feeling and we don’t need to really talk about it, like we just know. So we just get along very well. We click very well.”

Estes, a social media sensation with hundreds of thousands of followers, revealed that their romance sparked in a very modern way. “It started there,” he said of sliding into Ray’s DMs on social media.

Ray, 29, is one of the most recognizable fitness influencers in the world, with more than 26 million Instagram followers, a viral workout empire and her own activewear line. 

She has also been linked to high-profile names in the past — including Machine Gun Kelly — but Estes insists their bond is built on something deeper, and admires her strength both in and out of the gym.

When asked to name another celebrity he’d most like to see endure the grueling conditions of “Special Forces,” Estes didn’t hesitate. “Probably my girlfriend,” he answered. “I think she’d get it done. She’s tough.”

The relationship is Estes’ first public romance since parting ways with Cavallari, 38. The “Laguna Beach” alum later addressed the split on her “Let’s Be Honest” podcast, candidly explaining that the pair were in “different places” in life.

While she admitted she wasn’t sure if Estes was ready for the same level of commitment she was seeking, Cavallari made it clear there were no hard feelings, wishing him “nothing but the best.”

As Estes embarks on this new chapter personally, he’s also bracing to relive his experience filming “Special Forces” in the unforgiving conditions of the Moroccan desert.

Season 4 features a stacked cast, including “Real Housewives” stars Teresa Giudice and Eva Marcille, Barstool podcaster Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia, “Sister Wives” patriarch Kody Brown and actor Jussie Smollett, among others. Under the watch of real ex-special forces operatives, these famous participants are pushed to their physical and emotional limits in one of TV’s toughest competitions.
