Shedeur Sanders was cited for two speeding tickets

Shedeur Sanders’ run-in with police earlier this week was not his first for traveling too fast on the road.

A little less than two weeks before being pulled over by Strongsville (Ohio) police, the Browns quarterback had been pulled over by the Ohio State Highway Patrol, according to court records viewed by The Post.

The Browns’ fifth-round pick was pulled over on June 5 while traveling through Brunswick Hills Township south on Interstate 71, allegedly going 91 mph on a road that has a speed limit of 65, OSHP confirmed to the outlet.

The stop occurred at 5:13 p.m.

Sanders was given a $150 fine for speeding, along with court costs that raised the total to $249, and court records later showed that he did not appear for an arraignment related to the stop on June 16.

The day after, on June 17, Strongsville police cited Sanders for allgedly going 101 mph, 41 miles over the posted speed limit.

A Browns spokesperson told Cleveland.com that Sanders was “taking care of the tickets” and that the team had addressed the citations with him.

The new citation occurred earlier this week when he stopped on Interstate 72 in the Cleveland suburb of Strongsville and is due back in court on July 3.

Sanders was polite and cooperative with the officer when he stopped Sanders and a woman, who was reportedly in a separate vehicle, in the early morning traffic stop, with bodycam footage showing the officer talking to another and commenting that the Browns QB had been “cool” with him.

The officer said that he cut the woman driving with Sanders a break after he clocked her driving at 92 mph, but wasn’t able to extend the same courtesy since it was on a dashcam.
