During the co-main event against LA  Knight, Rollins attempted a Lionsault off the second rope but landed awkwardly, immediately clutching his knee in pain.

Cameras captured him uttering a clear “F‑‑k!” as he was helped backstage.

The injury led to a rushed finish and did not seem planned.

PWInsider reported that the finish to the match was changed on the fly as Rollins was originally slated to win, but his knee tweak led to a last-second decision to have Knight secure the victory.

PWInsider also noted that the knee injury appears to be legitimate.

Rollins currently holds the Money in the Bank contract, which gives him a championship match of his choosing at any time. Since WrestleMania 41, he has been part of one of WWE’s main stories while working with Paul Heyman, Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed.

Unfortunately for Rollins, this isn’t his first such injury.

In November 2015, he tore his ACL, MCL and meniscus during a house show in Ireland, which cost him the World Heavyweight Championship and sidelined him for nearly a year.

More recently, he underwent knee surgery early in 2024 to repair a torn meniscus.

Medical staff and WWE officials escorted Rollins backstage Saturday amid concern for his health, and he was ultimately helped to the locker room area.

Rollins, 39, is a five-time world champion in the WWE, having won the WWE and Universal Titles twice each, while winning the World Heavyweight Championship — the version established in 2023, not the title lineage adopted from WCW via the 2001 purchase of the former Turner-owned competitor.

Rollins, who has been one of the company’s biggest stars for over a decade running, has also won the Intercontinental and United States titles twice each, and was formerly an NXT Champion before solidifying himself on the main roster.
