The shocking incident occurred earlier this week at Deacon Blues Restaurant in Watervliet, a town just outside of Albany, New York.

The group of seven seniors apparently received rude service from their waiter throughout their meal.

One of the woman’s granddaughters, Keira L. DiNuzzo, shared the story on Facebook, claiming that when the group “politely explained that three people couldn’t make it due to unforeseen circumstances, their server snapped, ‘Well, it would be nice to let me know in the future.’”

She also claimed that the ladies found something black floating in their waters, but that when they brought it to their server’s attention, “she responded with rudeness and no concern whatsoever.”

That wasn’t even the worst of it.

After the group had finished their meal, and requested the check — they noticed their bill was labeled “Old B-tches.”

DiNuzzo shared a photo of the rude receipt.

“Worst customer experience — ever,” she wrote, noting that she was sharing the story to “warn others.”

“There’s no excuse for this kind of disrespect and unprofessionalism,” DiNuzzo insisted.

The Facebook post sparked outrage after the photo of the bill went viral.

One of the restaurant owners, Helen Wilkinson, commented on DiNuzzo’s post, apologizing.

“We at Deacon Blues profusely apologize for the actions of our employees. Please do not think we condone this behavior toward our customers,” she wrote.

“Our customer base consists of many loyal senior customers who have made our business grow and have the utmost respect for them.”

“Please do not judge the entire restaurant based on one disrespectful person. … Again, we apologize and are ashamed and assure you that this is not something we take lightly.”

The Post reached out to the restaurant for comment.

Deacon Blues has since hidden its Facebook reviews, which further upset DiNuzzo as she felt their response was insufficient.

In a statement to the Albany Times-Union, a representative for the Deacon Blues said: “I assure you that the owners are currently on vacation and are genuinely mortified by the behavior of their staff.”

Let’s be honest—no matter how stressful the day gets, a good viral video can instantly lift your mood. Whether it’s a funny pet doing something silly, a heartwarming moment between strangers, or a wild dance challenge, viral videos are what keep the internet fun and alive.
