Scott Wolf’s estranged wife Kelley claims she was ‘held against’ her will, ‘initiated’ split
Scott Wolf’s estranged wife, Kelley Wolf, returned to social media this week to make several surprising claims amid her ongoing divorce battle with the “Party of Five” alum.
Kelley, 48, took to Instagram to allege that she was “held against her will” sometime earlier this year by friends who were “worried” about her well-being.

She also claimed that she “initiated” her and Scott’s separation and has been “trying to file for divorce” from the actor “for months.”
“Let me say this as clearly – and with just the right amount of fire – as I possibly can,” she wrote on Thursday. “A few months ago, a small but very vocal group of [friends] had me held against my will.”
“Their reason? ‘I’m worried about you,’” she continued. “Wow. F–k them.”
Although Kelley did not detail exactly when the incident occurred, she claimed her friends “called the cops from a beach town in Florida or somewhere seaside” while “sipping cocktails.”
“That’s not love. That’s control,” she charged. “What happened was legal. But it wasn’t right. And it should never be that easy to weaponize concern – especially against women.”
As for her split from the “Everwood” star, Kelley claimed that she “initiated a separation almost a year ago” and “delays with legal counsel” slowed her from filing for divorce from Scott first.
“Yes, the official petition came from the other party, but let the record show: I’ve been grieving this marriage for years,” Kelley continued. “This isn’t avoidance – it’s acceptance.”
“I’m far past the grief. I’m well into the healing,” she added. “Very much so.”
The Post has reached out to Scott’s rep for comment.
Shortly after Kelley announced on June 10 that she and Scott were splitting after 21 years of marriage, the “Nancy Drew” actor confirmed to The Post that he made the “difficult decision” to file divorce papers.
“After 21 years of marriage, I have made the most difficult decision of my life, and filed for divorce from my wife Kelley,” he said.
Meanwhile, Kelley also broke her silence on her shocking hospitalization following a reported “family fight” at the Wolf family’s Park City, Utah home on the morning of June 13.
An audio clip from the 911 call connected to the purported incident heard an unidentified female telling the dispatcher that she was “terrified” and “needed help” after clashing with her brother-in-law and 16-year-old son.
Someone at the scene also mentioned an alleged “past-occurred assault” choking incident that purportedly transpired at the Wolf family home back in March.
Hours later, Kelley was detained by police and taken to a local hospital to get “some help” following further concerns for her well-being.
Kelley chronicled her detainment and hospital stay in a series of Instagram posts at the time.
“Apparently, I’m also one of the strongest women a certain mental hospital has ever met,” she wrote in a second Instagram post on June 19, regarding her hospitalization. “I was offered medication. I refused every single one. I laid in bed for five days – sober, clear, and calm.”
“There’s so much that needs to change,” Kelley added. “But for today, I’ll let this truth settle.”
Kelley added that the divorce has been difficult on their kids.
Scott and Kelley share sons Jackson, 16, and Miller, 12, and daughter, Lucy, 11.
“Divorce is hard,” she captioned a post this week. “However, it’s not as hard on the adults as it is on the kids, which is why I want you to leave them alone.”
She concluded: “Are we clear?”
