Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, he shared a smiling photo of Kelley during what seemed to be a coffee date.
“Happy birthday to you. 🎂❤️🩹,” he captioned the touching tribute as the broken heart emoji hinted at his pain from the split.
Many of the “Nancy Drew” actor’s fans applauded him for setting a “great example.”
One person commented on the birthday post, “Wonderful example of setting healthy boundaries while still loving someone. Great example for your children!”
“This says so much ❤️🩹 I pray for everyone’s healing,” another netizen noted as another praised him, “Your [sic] awesome Scott!!! Way to show support to Kelly and the kiddos win for sure when parents are like this towards each other❤️.”
“Scott, you’ve handled everything with such class and compassion. You’re a great dad and a good man — your kids are lucky to have your steady heart through it all,” a fourth person said.
Meanwhile, another wrote, “Beautiful post. You must have a very kind heart. God bless you and Kelly.”
The actor’s touching tribute comes amid his ongoing divorce battle with Kelley, who checked herself into a mental health facility two weeks ago.
On June 10, Scott told The Post that he and Kelley were going their separate ways after more than two decades together.
“After 21 years of marriage, I have made the most difficult decision of my life, and filed for divorce from my wife Kelley,” Wolf said in a statement. “Our children have always been, and continue to be, the loves of our lives and our every priority, so I kindly ask for privacy at this time as we help guide them through this new chapter.”
The “Real World” star then took to social media to confirm the news to their fans, writing, “It is with a heavy heart that Scott and I are moving forward with the dissolution of our marriage.
“This has been a long, quiet journey for me—rooted in hope, patience, and care for our children. While I will not speak publicly about the details, I feel peace knowing that I’ve done everything I can to walk this path with integrity and compassion,” she shared.
Despite the breakup, Kelley spoke highly of her ex, calling Scott “one of the best fathers I’ve ever known” and “one of the best partners a woman could have the privilege of sharing life with.”
She continued to gush over her former significant other.
“He is kind, thoughtful, funny, and beautiful in spirit. We both look forward to an extraordinary life centered around the most extraordinary children,” Kelley wrote. “My priority has always been their wellbeing—and my own healing. That will never change.”
However, things got dark when Kelley was placed in an involuntary psych hold and Scott filed a restraining order.
By August, Kelley had been arrested for harassment and banned from contacting her estranged husband and their three kids: son Jackson, 16, son Miller, 12, and daughter Lucy, 11.
Since then, she has checked herself into two mental health facilities in less than a month. The first time, she checked out within two days.
