Scheana Shay Confesses To Once Hooking Up With Jesse McCartney And Shemar Moore In The Same Weekend: “I Was With One One Night And One The Next Night”

Scheana Shay‘s dating history is good as gold.

The Vanderpump Rules icon revealed in her memoir My Good Side that she has dated, hung out with, and hooked up with A-listers like Eddie Cibrian, John Mayer (who’s “really into phone sex,” according to Shay), Adrian Grenier, Josh Hopkins, Shane West, Ricardo Chavira, JC Chasez, as well as two actors from The Notebook and a few professional athletes.

Shay, who is now married to Brock Davies, stopped by Decider’s studio following the release of her book, and we simply had to talk about her impressive dating roster.

The reality star preferred to leave which two actors she dated from The Notebook “up to the imagination” (Ryan Gosling and James Marsden, we have some questions). However, she did share more about how she knew singer Jesse McCartney, the beautiful soul behind every Millennial and Zillennial woman’s fantasies at one point or another in the early aughts.

According to Shay, she began hooking up with McCartney around 2009 or 2010 when they lived in the same building just north of Hollywood.

“Jesse lived up the hill just a tiny bit,” she recalled. “We’re both Chargers fans, so it became a thing where on Sundays I would bring donuts or bagels over to the boys and we would watch football, or we would go in the other room and do that, too.”

The author giggled as she then remembered a time she was with both McCartney and actor Shemar Moore over the same weekend in Las Vegas.

“I was with one one night and one the next night,” she confessed, noting that she was 23 or 24 at the time.

These days, Shay is happily married to Davies and they share one daughter, Summer Moon. The duo legally wed in a private ceremony in August 2021, before tying the knot in front of their family, friends, and Bravo cameras in 2022.

When we caught up with Shay, she shared what she hopes fans will take away from her memoir.

“All I’m looking for with this book is for people to have a deeper understanding of who I am and why I work the way that I do,” she said. “If you read this book and still don’t like me, that’s OK. I’m not everyone’s cup of tea. I can be annoying. I can be all of these things. I get it. But I feel like people have always judged me on a portion of me that you see on the show and not all of me.”
