In “Sexistential,” Robyn raps about having one-night stands while 10 weeks pregnant via IVF.

“I’m on the clock, just give me your ASL / F**k a Plan B, baby, it’s no big deal,’” she sings.

A clip of Robyn’s performance on “The Late Show” went viral on X with over 5 million views — and thousands of critical comments.

“This is not what a fifty year old woman should be doing,” one fan wrote.

“This sounds awful,” another person said.

Someone else tweeted, “I have second hand embarrassment.”

“I love Robyn but nope,” a fourth person wrote.

“Is this really what is considered music nowadays?” another fan asked.

A different fan declared, “the world is a worse place thanks to this song.”

Another critic claimed Robyn was “lip-syncing” during the performance.

“Not sure how you make a bad lip-sync performance, but there you have it,” the same person added.

Robyn’s performance didn’t go over well with all of the YouTube comments, either.

“This is shocking,” someone wrote.

“I want to see the audience faces lol,” another fan wrote.

“as a member of the studio audience, I too thought this was like an snl sketch,” a different YouTuber said.

Another commenter added, “That has gotta be one of the worst things I’ve ever heard and seen. It was at least a little funny, I don’t think intentionally though.”

The pop icon is set to release her ninth studio album, also titled “Sexistential,” in March.

In a statement, the “Dancing On My Own” singer said that the high-energy sound of the album is meant to feel “like a spaceship coming through the atmosphere at a really high speed and crash landing.”

“That’s how I felt, like I’d had all these experiences searching too far out into space, and now I’m crashing back into myself,” she added.

Robyn shared the same sentiments about her album during a recent interview with Apple Music 1 host Zane Lowe.

“There were so many big existential moments in the period leading up to making the album, but I think there was also some really joyful fun and pleasure, and the two things posed against each other was kind of what informed the duality of it all,” she shared.

“Sexistential” is out March 27.

Let’s be honest—no matter how stressful the day gets, a good viral video can instantly lift your mood. Whether it’s a funny pet doing something silly, a heartwarming moment between strangers, or a wild dance challenge, viral videos are what keep the internet fun and alive.
