Gervais, whose many credits include the across-the-pond version of “The Office,” and his longtime partner Jane Fallon, both appear on the deed in the property transfer to a limited liability company — whose identity could not immediately be identified.
More recently, Gervais served as executive producer of “The Paper” on Peacock, which was derived from “The Office.”
The pair still own a larger unit on the 12th floor, which they bought in 2011 for $3.74 million, records show. They purchased this ninth-floor residence — with one bedroom and 799 square feet — for $1.66 million in 2008, property records also show. This means a slight loss for the couple.
A representative for Gervais did not immediately respond to a request seeking comment on the deal.
The home’s listing images show a bright interior with light pouring in through oversize windows, which look out to the street. There are hardwood floors — even in the powder room — a modern-looking kitchen with lots of storage and enough room in the bedroom for a sitting area.
The listing, represented by Katherine Camp and Eric Schwarzkopf of Compass, details the open living area has northern exposure. The marketing also describes a Miele-brand washer/dryer in the unit, lots of closet space and a deep soaking tub in the full bathroom.
The home also comes with a private storage unit.
It quietly listed in May for $1.45 million, according to StreetEasy, which also shows it entered contract less than two months later.
Building amenities include a package room with cold storage and a garage.
Camp did not immediately respond to a message seeking comment on the sale.
