‘RHOSLC’ Exclusive Clip: Plane-Gate Continues As Heather Gay Calls Out Meredith Marks’ “Stone Wall Of Denial”

Heather Gay and Meredith Marks are continuing to go at it in tonight’s episode of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. In an exclusive clip obtained by DECIDER, Gay attempts to hash things out during a full-cast dinner, but Marks has no interest in speaking with her in front of the entire group.
It appears that whatever did (or didn’t) happen on the plane ride home to Utah will remain a hot-button issue in tonight’s new episode. Over the last few episodes, Gay has taken Britani Bateman‘s side in the debate, claiming Marks was unhinged and screaming at the cabaret star for the entire flight home, while Marks has denied any wrongdoing. After last week’s episode, it was clear that Gay and Marks’ friendship was on thin ice, and it looks like they’ll be chatting about it again this week.

At the start of the clip, Mary Cosby urges Marks and Gay to talk about their issues.
“When I opened up my necklace and put it on—which I love—Bronwyn [Newport] kept saying, ‘It’s a peace offering from Meredith,’” Gay says, referring to a necklace Marks gifted her before the dinner.
Marks told her, “You seemed very, I don’t want to use the wrong words, but tense with me. And I said, ‘Well, then I’ll bring her a gift as a peace offering.’ I think that’s a nice thing. If you don’t think it’s nice, don’t keep it.”
Gay explains that she’s “not rejecting the gift,” but that she wants to “talk about” the root cause of the tension. However, Marks quickly shuts it down, telling her that she wasn’t looking to have their much-needed conversation “as a group.”
“She wants to start this with the group to rile people up, to start on me again,” Marks says in her confessional. “It’s clear that Heather doesn’t have respect for our friendship.”
Gay goes on to accuse Marks of assassinating her character, dejecting their history, their friendship, and her loyalty for calling out her behavior on the plane, while Marks remains on denial island, claiming she never did any of those things.
“I’m not sure how to speak to somebody like this. I’ve never been in a situation where it’s just like a stone wall of denial,” Gay says in her confessional.
The mom-of-three tells Marks that she was “hurt” when she implied that she was a “liar,” and after some back and forth, Lisa Barlow finally chimes in, “Everybody makes mistakes in friendships and you can’t constantly hold people to this crazy standard that you don’t even hold yourself.”
See what happens when The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City airs tonight at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo.
