Stephanie Shojaee is defending her extensive Birkin collection.
The “Real Housewives of Miami” newbie, 40 — who joined the hit Bravo series this year for Season 7 — tells Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” that she is proud of spending more than $1 million on numerous versions of the coveted Hermès handbag.

“I am investing!” she says, while also acknowledging that she’s accumulated her pricey collection in “slow installments.”
“It’s not like you can go in and buy a bunch of [Birkins]. The thing I’m proud of the most, though, is that I have never once bought a secondhand Birkin.”
The real estate developer — who runs Shoma Group alongside husband Masoud Shojaee — says she has built solid relationships with Hermès stores across the globe, helping her purchase the pricey purses directly from retailers rather than rely on designer resellers.
“All of my Birkins, every single Birkin, has been through Hermès at an Hermès store,” she shares.
“It’s very uncommon, but I have a lot of relationships with different Hermès [stores],” the Bravo rookie elaborates. “I have a relationship with Qatar Hermès, Dubai Hermès, Montreal Hermès, Miami Hermès, Paris Hermès, Swiss Hermès.”
Several of Stephanie’s favorite Birkins have cost “$60,000 and $80,000” apiece, she admits, including those with diamond-encrusted hardware and others made with crocodile skin.
“I have one that has diamonds on … the hardware. But I have the leather ones also,” she tells “Virtual Reali-Tea,” adding that no one is allowed to touch her precious purses except for her.
“I don’t let anybody look at them, touch them, breathe on them, nothing,” she says with a laugh. “Just let the Birkin be!”

And if anyone’s judging Stephanie’s relationship with her Birkins — or the amount of money she’s spent on them — she is very much unbothered.
“Listen, I just really feel that you should be able to work and spend your money on what you like. Why is it no problem to talk about Jay Leno’s car collection and it’s no problem to talk about other people’s art collection?” Stephanie ponders.
“But a girl has 100-something Birkins and it’s like, ‘She’s so shallow.’ Really? What about the old guys that are spending a bazillion dollars on some old Porsche that nobody cares about?”
“The Real Housewives of Miami” airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo with new episodes available to stream the next day on Peacock.
