Others were seen running for their lives on the street, with some diving behind cars to avoid the flying bullets.
One woman shrieked and kicked her leg in terror as the bullets whizzed by just above her head, the harrowing video showed.
“There’s a lot of video circulating online, it’s pretty much a horrific scene,” said the Philadelphia Police Commissioner Kevin Bethel.
The wild video shows the hot glow of the muzzle fire as one gunman stands just inches from the Ring camera, which is now evidence police are using to conduct their investigation.
The shootout, which left three victims dead and another 10 injured, started just before 1 a.m. on the 1500 block of South Etting Street, police told 6ABC Action News.
Officers were already in the area responding to a call about noise complaints and large crowds when they heard the exchange of gunfire, the station said.
The cops raced to the scene and found a dozen shooting victims ranging in age from 15 to 24, as well as a thirteenth victim hurt in the bedlam, trying to escape the violence.
The three dead victims were not identified, but police said they were aged 19, 23 and 24, 6ABC Action News reported.
Among the other victims are a 15-year-old girl and two 17-year-old boys, while a 19-year-old man was listed in critical condition. The victims were being treated at Penn Presbyterian Hospital, according to the outlet.
Bethel said he was outraged at how the shooters put innocent people at risk.
“This is coward stuff. You see the size of this block — individuals just shooting randomly into houses, into cars,” Bethel said, per the station. “I mean, this is coward, wannabe thug stuff.
“But as we do in all of our investigations, we will get to the root cause, and we will bring those individuals to justice,” he added.
At least one person with a weapon was taken into custody, 6ABC Action News reported.
