Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene states she is “not suicidal” as she pushes for Epstein transparency from DOJ

Georgia Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene declared that people should remember she is “not suicidal” should something happen to her in the wake of her support of a petition for the release of the Epstein files.

The conservative firebrand took to X on Saturday to dispel any notion that she would take her own life as she reiterated her desire to expose the “Epstein rape and pedophile network.”

“I am not suicidal and one of the happiest healthiest people you will meet,” the Georgia Republican wrote on X.

“With that said, if something happens to me, I ask you all to find out which foreign government or powerful people would take heinous actions to stop the information from coming out,” Greene said, adding, “The People understand what I’m saying.”

The disturbing disclaimer comes in the wake of Greene redoubling her support of the Congressman Thomas Massie authored House Resolution 581, which would push to release files on Jeffrey Epstein, who killed himself in Brooklyn lockup in 2019.

“I stand with girls and women who are sexually abused and raped. Period. Every time. At all times,” Green wrote in a previous post to X.

“For me, it’s not about a pissing contest between political parties or political enemies. The Epstein rape and pedophile network must be exposed,” she said, adding that her name will stay on the discharge petition.

Greene’s name is one of only four Republicans — including the author Rep. Massie, Rep. Nancy Mace, and Rep. Lauren Boebert — who signed with over 200 Democrats.

HR-581 calls on the the Department of Justice to publicly disclose all unclassified records, documents, communications, and investigative materials in its possession that relate to Epstein and his madame Ghislaine Maxwell.

That bill has 50 co-sponsors including Green, New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and California’s Rep. Nancy Pelosi.

Earlier this month, Republican representatives Greene and Massie held a joint press conference with California Democrat Congressman Ro Khanna where the bipartisan group pleaded with the Trump administration for greater transparency with regards to the deceased, high-powered pedophile.

“This is the largest press conference that I’ve seen since I’ve been here and this is because this is an issue that matters so much to Americans. This is an issue that doesn’t have political boundaries,” Greene said, pleading, “This is an issue that should bring us all together.”
